Conundrum Press, located in Nova Scotia, is a Canadian publishing company that was founded by Andy Brown. Established in 1996 in Montreal, the press started out producing chapbooks but moved into eclectic content such as novels, comics, zines and short stories. By 2010 they decided to focus exclusively on publishing literary graphic novels.
The press has published many award winning comic artists such as Henriette Valium, Meags Fitzgerald, Jillian Tamaki, Michel Rabagliati and Sami Alwani but they are committed to publishing new voices in this genre. They have a very extensive catalogue of work on their website that has been curated by Andy Brown to present a wide range of work. The press offers an annual bursary for Black and Indigenous creators and it also has an imprint called Emanata for young adult submissions.
