Bartel Honey Farms Inc. is a fourth-generation family-owned beekeeping operation. This family farm has been situated in Kleefeld, Manitoba for over 35 years. They occupy a unique space when it comes to size; at 1,500 hives, they are surprisingly large for the area. However, they are a smaller operation when compared to larger operations in other parts of Canada.

They sell fresh honey based on the honey crop for the year. From July to September, they are dedicated to having fresh honey available at the farm. You can bring your own containers to fill during this time as well. They sell their harvest until they are sold out, so it’s worth checking it out earlier in the season.
