Londre Bodywear is a Canadian company that was founded by Ainsley Rose and Hannah Todd in 2017. Their mission is to produce flattering, high-quality swimsuits with the lowest possible environmental impact. With that in mind, to date they have recycled over one million plastic bottles to make their creations. They use a minimum of six bottles to create each swimsuit. 

Some other examples of their sustainability goals: all water that is used in the production of their garments is chemical free so it can be reused, all packaging is compostable and you can even return your swimsuit to them when you are finished with it so that it can be recycled. You can purchase both one-piece and two-piece swimsuits and loungewear from the company.

Please note that like most swimsuit and clothing brands that use recycled plastic, Londre cannot properly process the plastic it uses in Canada. In these cases, plastic is usually sourced globally and processed in specialty facilities that simply don’t exist domestically. They have also started making swimsuits in China.
