Harly Jae is a company started by Laila, who moved 5,000 km across the country to follow her dream of working in the fashion industry. She spent the year following her move studying the fashion industry, which led her to realise some harsh truths about the industry, including the horrifying conditions some garment workers work in.
She abandoned the dream, until four years later, she realised she could still have a career in fashion through her own clothing line that would reflect her personal aesthetic and ethical and environmental values.
