The Ironworks Distillery was founded by Pierre Guevremont and Lynne MacKay and it is located in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Pierre and Lynne started artisan distilling in 2008 after reading an article about the industry’s growth. They were inspired to create their products from scratch and control the whole process themselves.
The company sources as many of its raw ingredients as possible locally in Nova Scotia. By sourcing its ingredients and distilling its products locally the company maximises the number of direct and indirect jobs it creates in Nova Scotia.
