Kellogg’s is a familiar brand to most Canadians as well as across the world. The company is not Canadian but has a factory in Belleville, Ontario where some of Kellogg’s products for the Canadian and the US markets are manufactured.
The company was founded by W.K. Kellogg in February 1906. Mr Kellogg was a leading philanthropist and an early conservationist as well as a well-being visionary. He was motivated by quality and innovation and discovered toasted flakes cereal that came to shape an entire industry. We now know those toasted flakes as Kellogg’s Corn Flakes®, which are still one of Kellogg’s most popular and well-known products.
