Souris River Canoes has been in operation for 30 years. The company is owned by a husband and wife team Keith and Arlene Robinson. Keith first began paddling in the late 1960s so he has decades of experience of what makes a good canoe. Arlene is also an experienced canoeist and the couple has raced canoes together.
Souris River canoes are made with duPont™ KEVLAR® fibre, which they believe is the perfect material for canoes resulting in some of the best composite canoes on the market. The company uses epoxy resin which is stronger than polyester and vinylester resins used by most other canoe builders. The designs are fast, stable, easy to manoeuver, and built with wilderness trips in mind.
