Spread ’em Kitchen started as a weekend farmers market side hustle with Mellisa making her spreads in her kitchen to sell them to make some extra money.
The word of her unique flavours spread quickly and having started with $500 and a cargo bike in 2015, by 2019 the company moved into a new 20,000-square-foot facility in Richmond, British Columbia. Today Spread ’em Kitchen plant-based dips and cheeses are available across Canada in thousands of stores.
All Spread ’em Kithecn dips and cheeses are made without thickeners or preservatives. The vegetables are sourced from local farms that practice natural farming methods and support non-GMO agriculture.
