ChocoSoil Traders was originally formed in Mexico in 2004 but the company moved to Toronto in 2006. The company’s mission is to make chocolate and maize foods that are good for the mind, body, and soil.
ChocoSoil is a community-based, urban agriculture project integrating soil making and rooftop container gardening into daily operations at the company’s chocolate production facility.
