McGuire Chocolate Company began life in Calgary, but the family-owned business soon moved across the country to New Brunswick. Much of their chocolate is made from only three ingredients – fermented cacao beans, organic cacao butter and organic cane sugar. Most chocolate is not made with fermented cacao, necessitating the addition of refined sugar and other ingredients.
