Traynor Amps is a Canadian amplifier that is produced by Yorkville Sound, a Canadian company based in Pickering, ON. Traynor Amps were first built around 1963 by Pete Traynor, a musician and repair technician. Pete was working as a repairman for the original Long & McQuade music store in Toronto when he began to build his own amplifiers. Traynor established Yorkville Sound with Jack Long and the partnership has been manufacturing amps ever since.
Traynor Amps are now used by a wide variety of musicians that perform with many different types of bands. You can purchase their products from many different music stores. They manufacture amplifiers for guitars, bass, e-drums and keyboards. Some specific examples of their amps are: guitar combo, guitar heads, guitar cabinet and acoustic cabinet amps. See their website for other options for bass, e-drums and keyboards as well as features and specifications.
