Operating from the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, Shelter Point makes highly acclaimed, award-winning, artisan alcohol. Their products are made with traditional Scottish distilling methods including slow fermentations and double-distilling before maturing in an array of woods selected for their unique flavour specialties.

Shelter Point was started by Patrick Evans, a third-generation farmer in 2011 as a commercial vocation for barley grown on his farm. The company has since been acquired by Nelson Investments but the focus remains the same: to produce the highest quality single malt whiskey that is 100% Canadian.

Shelter Point also offers free tastings and tours of the distilling facility.
