Considerations:

Casper’s Percale Sheet Set is one of the company’s longest-running sheet sets. Casper often tries new materials and bedding options, but these percale-weave sheets persist. They are incredibly crisp and comfortable. The way that they feel is appealing to a host of Canadians, particularly those who prefer an airy drape and more breathability overall.

The thread count of these sheets is around 300, which makes them the heaviest sheets on our list. Even though these sheets are a little dense compared to the other Casper sheets we’re looking at, they are lightweight compared to sheets from other companies. A thread count of around 300 is considered breathable and lightweight.

These sheets come in ten different colour options and six standard mattress sizes. Most of the time, a handful of these options will be sold out. If the sheets you want are available at any time, you should purchase them before they are sold out again. You can purchase the sheet set alone, a sheet set and duvet cover combo, a duvet cover, a pillowcase set, and a pillow sham set in the same materials and colours.

These eco-conscious sheets are made with 100% organic cotton in a 1:1 percale weave, which features a one-over-one-under construction. The King and California King sizes come with two King-size pillowcases, while the other sizes come with one (or two) standard pillowcases depending on size.

Casper Sateen Sheets

It's Great For:

Considerations:

Casper’s Sateen Sheets are a smoother, silkier option than some of the other sheets on our list. While they are still made with 100% organic cotton, the sateen 3:1 weave allows for a smoother finish. While the Casper Percale sheets are crisp, Sateen provides a softer feel. Each time you wash the sheets, they get softer. Over time, you’ll find that these sheets take on a unique feel that your other sheet sets can’t quite achieve.

A thread count of about 280 provides better breathability than denser sheets. However, the 3:1 weave is also thicker than some of the other weaves we’ve looked at (especially percale, which uses a 1:1 weave). More threads mean a denser feel, which is what helps to create a softer touch.

These sheets are available in 11 different colour options across six standard mattress sizes. Many of these colours are usually out of stock. If you’re looking for a more colourful set of sheets, you might have to look elsewhere – the options here, when in stock, are mostly neutrals with a few exceptions. You can purchase the sheet set by itself, as well as a separate duvet cover and a bundle that includes the sheet set and duvet cover. Also available is a pillowcase set (which includes two standard pillowcases) and a sham set. All set pieces are available in the same colour options, and all are made with 100% organic cotton.

These sheets are cool, allowing some heat to escape through the weave. While they are not the coolest sheets in our Casper sheets review, they still provide valuable airflow for those who sleep warm. These sheets are also extremely easy to care for, as you can machine wash them on a warm, normal cycle and tumble dry low.

Casper SuperSoft Sheets

It's Great For:

Considerations:

If you prefer your sheets to be extremely soft and comfortable, you’re in luck. The Casper SuperSoft sheets are made with 100% organic cotton, but the cotton is brushed to provide a flannel feel. If you prefer snuggling up in your sheets, especially during the winter months, this option is perfect for you. You also won’t have to worry too much about colour selection. This sheet set and all of the available set pieces come in three standard colours, which include gray, indigo, and white. No matter what the rest of your bedroom looks like, these sheets are sure to look right at home.

The care instructions for these sheets are a little more intensive than other Casper sheets. You can machine wash them, but it must be on a cold, gentle cycle with similar colours. You can tumble dry them on low when the wash is finished, but removing them immediately is best to avoid wrinkling. Since they are prone to wrinkling, you can iron them out with a warm iron.

You can purchase these sheets in all six standard mattress sizes. In addition to the sheet set, you can also purchase a matching duvet cover separately. There is also a bundle available with the sheet set and duvet cover, as well as a pillowcase set that includes two additional pillowcases. You can quickly colour-match all of the pieces you need so that your entire bed matches. Curiously, this sheet set doesn’t offer a sham set like the other Casper sheets in our Casper sheet review.

While these sheets are not advertised as flannel sheets, they offer the same comfortable feel as flannel. As a result, they help keep you warm during the winter months and might be too warm for some warmer sleepers. However, if you need to stay warm, these sheets are ideal. The satin weave allows them to be comfortable and dense with a lower thread count, too. These sheets have a thread count of about 248.

Casper Hyperlite Sheets

It's Great For:

Considerations:

Casper’s Hyperlite Sheets stand out even among the other sheets in our Casper. Sheets review.  These sheets are made with 100% Tencel Lyocell, a change from the 100% organic cotton of the other options here. The reason for the change is clear. Hyperlite sheets are Casper’s premier cooling sheets. They are extremely lightweight and breathable, partly due to their materials and weave. Tencel is extremely cool. It helps wick away moisture and heat, and the grid weave enhances these features.

The grid weave of these sheets creates small vents throughout the surface of the sheets. This means that excess heat is vented away from you, allowing for more airflow throughout the sheets. Rather than becoming trapped under the sheets, heat will vent out and prevent uncomfortable build-up.

These sheets are extremely breathable and lightweight. The 200 thread count helps promote breathability and comfort no matter what season it is. If you sleep hot and need cooling sheets to reduce temperature throughout the night, these sheets are the right option for you.

You can purchase the Casper Hyperlite sheets in all six standard mattress sizes. They come in five different colours, which are mostly neutral. This means they’ll work with the rest of your bedroom decor no matter what. You can, of course, purchase the sheet set on its own. There’s also an option to purchase the matching duvet cover separately. If you want both, you can purchase the sheet set and duvet cover bundle. Other options include a pillowcase set (which includes two matching pillowcases) and a sham set.

Sheet Materials

Casper Sheets Materials

Most of Casper’s sheet sets are made with the same materials. The Casper Percale sheets, Casper Sateen sheets, and Casper SuperSoft sheets are made with 100% organic cotton.  This cotton is GOTS (Global Organic Trade Standard) Certified to be of the highest quality without any harmful chemicals. As a result, these sheets are eco-conscious. Those who worry about their environmental impact will sleep a little easier on these sheets.

Of course, the sheets are different because of the way the cotton is woven. The Percale sheets feature a one-over-one-under percale weave, which is breathable and airy. The drape on these sheets is outstanding because of the simple percale weave. The Sateen sheets, on the other hand, are silkier because of the 3:1 sateen weave. This makes them dense and soft to the touch.  When it comes to Casper’s SuperSoft sheets, you’ll find a different texture because the organic cotton is brushed to create a cozy flannel experience.

The Casper Hyperlite sheets are a little different.  Rather than being made with cotton, they are made with 100% Tencel Lyocell. This lends them a unique feel, but the weave helps create better airflow and breathability throughout. The result is sheets that are cool and breathable.

The materials used in your sheets are important. Knowing where they come from and how they function can influence your decision in a big way. It’s interesting that Casper uses the same material for most of their sheet sets, but each has distinct benefits and a different feel.

Thread Count

Thread count is one of the biggest talking points when it comes to sheets. Though some may advertise thread count as an indicator of quality, this isn’t necessarily true. Thread count doesn’t indicate a certain quality on its own. However, it does affect many properties of the sheets, including breathability and feel.

Thread count, simply put, is the number of threads used in a single square inch of the sheets. Higher thread counts lead to denser sheets, while lower thread counts can be lightweight. Sheets can feel soft regardless of thread count because the weave can have a huge impact on how sheets feel. Different weaves promote breathability, softness, or other features.

Each of the sheet sets in our Casper sheets review has a different thread count. They are also woven differently, leading to a host of distinct feelings and benefits.

Casper’s Percale sheets have the highest thread count on our list. This 300-thread count sheet set is breathable and comfortable, with a crisp drape and airy feel. The percale weave helps promote airflow, reducing temperature and creating the crisp drape that is so desirable for some Canadians.

The Casper Sateen sheets, on the other hand, have a thread count of about 280. This is due in part to the sateen weave, which is a 3:1 weave that creates a dense, soft fabric. Sateen is silky and smooth, which is great if you prefer a gentler touch. If you prefer sheets with a flannel feel or construction, consider the Casper SuperSoft sheets. These sheets have an unconventional thread count of about 248, but the cotton used in the satin weave is brushed for additional coziness.

Finally, the Casper Hyperlite sheets offer the lowest and most breathable thread count on our list. At 200 thread count, these sheets use a grid weave to vent temperature and create a unique feel. While some may argue that 200 thread count sheets are usually stiff and uncomfortable, that simply isn’t the case with the Casper Hyperlite sheets.

Set Options

Casper offers comprehensive listings for all of their sheet sets. From the listing page, you can choose to purchase the sheet set. You can also choose a variety of extra pieces and additional bedding options that are made with the same materials in the same colours.

Each sheet set, regardless of materials or thread count, comes with the following materials.

  • 1 Flat Sheet
  • 1 Fitted Sheet
  • Pillowcases (2 Pillowcases in the King and California King sets, 1 Pillowcase in Other Options)

The additional pieces available on each set listing are mostly the same, with some variations.

  1. Casper Percale Sheets: Sheet Set, Sheet Set + Duvet Cover, Duvet Cover, Pillowcase Set, Sham Set
  2. Casper Sateen Sheets: Sheet Set + Duvet Cover, Sheet Set, Duvet Cover, Pillowcase Set, Sham Set
  3. Casper SuperSoft Sheets: Sheet Set + Duvet Cover, Sheet Set, Duvet Cover, Pillowcase Set
  4. Casper Hyperlite Sheets: Sheet Set + Duvet Cover, Sheet Set, Duvet Cover, Pillowcase Set, Sham Set

These pieces can be purchased in the same size and colour options as your sheet set. If you want extra pillowcases or a matching duvet cover, these matching pieces are extremely convenient.

Colours and Sizes

Casper Sheets Colours

Casper’s sheet sets come in a variety of colours depending on the sheet set you choose. If you’re looking for a specific colour, knowing which set offers which colours can be useful. Here’s a list of each of the colour options offered in each of the sheet sets in our Casper sheet set review.

  • Casper Percale Sheets: Oatmilk, Indigo, Deep Forest, Dusty Rose, Sunshine, Olive, Spice, White, Gray, Driftwood
  • Casper Sateen Sheets: Eucalyptus, Small Stripe – Gray, Oatmilk, Indigo, White, Gray, Navy, Lilac, Midnight Gray, Fog Blue, Driftwood
  • Casper SuperSoft Sheets: Oatmilk, Indigo, White
  • Casper Hyperlite Sheets: Indigo, Dusty Rose, White, Gray, Fog Blue

You’ll find the largest range of sizes with the Casper Sateen Sheet Set. However, all of the colours available in each set could be great additions to your bedroom set.

Every one of Casper’s sheet sets come in six standard sizes (Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, California King).

Temperature Control

Most Canadians generate heat as they sleep. Heavier sheets and foam mattresses might allow heat to build up in the materials as you sleep, preventing ventilation. Because of this, you might wake up sweating and overheating in the middle of the night. If you’re tired of waking up because your bed is too hot, it might be time to look into cooling mattresses, cooling sheets, and even cooling pillows.

Choosing cooling sheets can be an important step to prevent overheating. Sheets that are too dense or heavy can trap heat, creating an environment that’s simply too warm to promote proper sleep. To solve this issue, you should choose sheets that use lighter materials, breathable weaves, and more.

When it comes to temperature control, Casper’s sheets are all pretty cool. All four sheet sets are breathable and promote better airflow. They don’t allow heat to build up as you sleep, reducing temperature throughout the night. However, the degree of temperature control offered by each sheet varies.

The highest thread count you’ll find on this list is 300. This thread count still allows for perfect breathability. Casper’s Percale sheets are still lightweight and airy. They feel crispy and comfortable, allowing air to escape through the simple weave. Casper’s Sateen sheets are a little less breathable. Their 3:1 sateen weave is more focused on a soft feel, but they still provide moderate amounts of airflow.

Casper’s SuperSoft sheets are the warmest options on our list. The brushed cotton materials allow for a cozy flannel feel. The result is that they trap heat a little more than the other options here, even though they have one of the lowest thread counts that Casper offers. If you sleep warm, you might want to avoid these sheets.

Finally, we come to Casper’s Hyperlite sheets. These sheets offer outstanding temperature control. These cooling sheets are made with 100% Tencel Lyocell, a material that is well-known for its moisture and temperature-wicking properties. If you often find yourself waking up too hot, we recommend the Casper Hyperlite sheets over any of the other options on this list. The grid weave helps create heat vents that reduce temperature throughout.

Feel

Despite using mostly the same materials, Casper’s sheet sets all feel distinctly different. We’ve looked at how these sheets vary above, but knowing how the sheets feel is important. This is especially true because you cannot touch the sheets prior to purchasing them online.

The Casper Percale sheets are crisp and lightweight. They offer a beautiful, clean drape and a distinctly quality feel. However, they aren’t as soft as the Casper Sateen sheets.

Casper’s Sateen sheets feel soft, smooth, and satiny. They only get softer over time. Each time you wash these sheets, they become softer.

The Casper SuperSoft sheets are, as the name suggests, extremely soft. The brushed cotton lends them a cozy flannel feel that you won’t find in most of the other luxury sheets on this list. They feel comfortable and warm throughout every Canadian season.

If you’re looking for a more unique feel, consider the Casper Hyperlite sheets. These sheets are made with different materials than the other three sets we’ve looked at. Because of this, they offer a unique feel that you won’t find elsewhere. They are smooth and cool to the touch, with very little texture despite their grid weave.

Care Instructions

While all of Casper’s sheet options are machine washable, their care varies just a bit based on factors like materials, weave, and thread count. If you’re unsure how to care for your sheets, you can always check the documentation that came with your sheet set. If that fails, make sure to take a look at Casper’s website. They are usually very good at documenting how to care for all of their bedding items.

Caring for Casper’s Percale sheets is simple. Make sure to machine wash on a normal warm cycle. Dark colours should be washed separately, and you can use non-chlorine bleach on lighter colours to keep them looking great. After, tumble dry low for best results. You can care for the Casper Sateen sheets in the same way.

However, Casper’s SuperSoft sheets are different. You can machine wash them on a cold, gentle cycle. Make sure that the sheets are washed with similar colours. You can use non-chlorine bleach on lighter colours. Tumble dry low after washing, and remove as soon as the cycle is finished. You can iron these sheets with a warm iron to help them dry.

Unfortunately, Casper fails to document how to care for their Hyperlite sheets on their website. The sheets are machine washable, as they state that all of their sheet sets are. However, details about washing this particular set are somewhat limited.

When choosing a sheet set, make sure to choose one that you can comfortably care for. If you aren’t prepared to be at your dry cleaner’s every week, for example, make sure to avoid sheets that require dry cleaning or professional cleaning. Keeping care instructions in mind can help you choose an option that works best for your lifestyle.

It’s important to follow these care instructions carefully. Failure to follow proper washing instructions can lead to damage, but it can also void your warranty. To avoid this, make sure to follow washing instructions as carefully as possible. You’ll preserve the lifespan of your sheets if you do!

Pricing

Shipping

All of Casper’s bedding options (including bed in a box mattresses) ship free within the US and Canada. Casper uses UPS as its carrier to deliver your sheets in record time. It usually takes about 2 business days for your sheets to ship when they are in stock, though their sheet sets often go out of stock.

Though shipping is free to most locations, there will be fees for shipping to the Yukon Territory, Northwest Territory, and Nunavut. These locations require additional shipping measures due to their location, so you can expect to pay additional shipping as a result.

It can take between 3 and 9 business days for your sheets to arrive at your location.

Sleep Trial and Returns

All Casper sheet sets and other bedding options include a 30-night sleep trial. This allows you to try the sheets before you decide to keep them. If you don’t like how they feel or they don’t offer the features you need, you can return the within the first 30 nights of your purchase for a full refund of the purchase price.

You can initiate a return on the Casper website. Simply contact the customer service team to start the return process within your trial period. Casper will send you a shipping label to return your sheets. From there, your sheets will be donated or recycled depending on what is available.

Once your sheets are received, Casper will process a refund to your original payment method. It can take between 3 and 10 business days for your refund to reach your bank account or other payment method.

Warranty

Casper offers a 1-year Limited Sheets Warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that lead to permanent damage or unusable sheets. Becuase of the nature of bed sheets, this warranty is somewhat limited. It covers some damage, but does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Comfort Preference
  • Damage caused by stains, liquid damage, or improper washing

If your sheets do meet the warranty criteria, you will need your original proof of purchase. You can initiate a warranty claim on the Casper website with this information. You do not have to pay for return shipping costs.

Sheets eligible for warranty action will be replaced. They have the same warranty period as the original sheets, and the warranty will not be extended or restarted for replacement sheets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Some of Casper’s products are made in the US. While Casper makes an effort to make their Canadian products in Canada, most sheet sets are made in India instead. When you order Casper sheets, they are shipped from a Canadian warehouse.

Each sheet material has different care and ironing instructions. Make sure that you reach each sheet set’s care instructions to determine if it’s safe to iron them after washing. You may have to use different temperatures and methods to safely care for each material, too.

Certifications vary based on the type of sheet.

  • Casper Percale Sheets: GOTS Certified
  • Casper Sateen Sheets: 100% Organic Cotton GOTS Certified Cotton and OEKO-TEX Certified

These certifications indicate that the sheets are made at the highest level of quality without harmful materials.

Each sheet set will fit any mattress in the standard mattress sizes listed. However, they will only fit mattresses up to 14 inches deep. Make sure to double-check the dimensions of the fitted sheet with the dimensions of your mattress to make sure it will fit properly.

All Casper sheet sets (and all of their other bedding options) include a 30-night sleep trial, which gives you a full month to decide if you like them. If you decide that they aren’t for you, you can get a full refund of your purchase price. The return process is simple, and Casper provides a shipping label to return the sheets so you won’t have to pay for shipping.

All of Casper’s sheets come with the 1-year Limited Sheet Warranty. This warranty covers permanent damage caused by faulty materials and workmanship, but it is somewhat limited. If you don’t like the sheets or don’t wash them properly, the warranty will be void.
